Laugh, Learn, and Love with Resilient Communities
The 2018 APRM conference event has something for everyone. There are 3 great ways to participate this year:
- Travel around the island for pre-conference community dialogues
- Engage with fellow community changers during an inhouse working session
- Advance your own skill set with post-conference training opportunities
Participate in all three sections, or pick the one or two events that peak your interest.

OPEN space on top (nov. 16)
On November 16th we invite you to share your ideas on Addressing Issues and Opportunities for Expanding and Adapting ICA Technology of Participation (ToP) in Asia and Greater China. This is an opportunity for the group to explore what is happening, what is needed and what projects and processes to take forward.
ICA Asia Pacific Regional Meeting (nov. 13 - 16)
This is an ICA annual interchange for those wanting to connect with and support ICA work across Asia. This year’s themes are Innovation, Creativity, and Action.
Over three days, participants will have opportunities to network with fellow facilitators, discuss purpose and mission for ToP programs around Asia, and partake in strategic planning for developing better collaborations outside the region.
The event will be held in Tainan at the Jianan Water Conservancy.
Spirit of facilitation workshop (nov. 17 - 18)
The Spirit of Facilitation (SOF) workshop, held from November 17th to 18th, is designed for people who have previously attended ICA or other facilitation courses and have some experience using their facilitation skills in their work, in relationships and in other organization interactions. As a person gains competency and experience in basic facilitative methods (whether in group setting or one-to-one as in coaching or mentoring), what does he/she need in order to more effectively recognize and tap into spirit for authenticity, high performance and productivity?
